Detroit Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Carpenter

Today we went to the zoo with Matt's parents. It was a sunny and hot day, but many of the animals were out...we saw zebras, a fox, polar bears and seals, giraffes, a peacock, penguins, warthogs, anteaters, flamingoes, 2 rhinos, a hippo, lots of reptiles, and many more! All in a few hours...we sure got a workout! Brooke enjoyed the train ride and was talking quite a bit in the stroller. She had a rough morning at church, her number popped up on the screen when she was in the nursery. When I went and got her, her face had red blotches everywhere and she had little tears running down her face...I felt so bad for leaving her. Usually she does so well in the nursery.
