Brooke met with the Dr. today for her 18 month well visit. It was great timing because she ended up getting 2 very deep splinters from our friend's deck last night and the Dr. was so helpful in getting them out for us. Brooke was so good, she did not cry at all. Then, the Dr. gave her 2 band-aids that lasted about 30 seconds and they were off! I know one day soon it will be the opposite - she will be asking for a band-aid for every little boo-boo! Brooke is 28 pounds already...a growing little girl! She is very SOCIAL and always has to give the Dr. a hug and kiss when we leave. I am thankful she does not get shots at the Dr.'s office. We go to the Health Dept. for that.
She did not like leaving the Dr.s because she loves the fish in the big tank and also the play bus in the waiting room! Of course, we had to walk by it to get to he door...so, she threw a fit, and I had to drag her out...so embarrassing! But, we can't stay there all day, right?!?!?!?

Happy 18 months, Brooke! Tell your mom that Fun Fridays at Van Hoosen Farm are coming soon and we are hoping you meet is there...just like last year:)
